Just a quick note and simple explanation of some of the rules.Also, if you have not registered yet, you can on Wed and Thurs Night at the club from 6pm onwards. QUICK CRASH COURSE TO THE FISHING RULES LENGTH ONLY SPECIES AWARDS Prizes will be presented to the longest of the following species. These can be measured at the club or catch and release and photo. The photo MUST be of the fish on the measuring mat / device and MUST include the code that will be used for the weekend. Last year the code was SST23 and most just wrote it on their brag mat or on a bit of paper in the photo they submitted. The photo entries can be emailed to me at paspainting123@gmail.com or SMS to me on 0407 131 714 Kingfish: Morwong: Salmon: Mulloway: Bonito: Trevally: Snapper: Flathead: Bream: Code will be revealed on Thursday Night for use on Fri, Sat and Sun. LINE CLASS AWARDS All fish entered into the divisions below need to be of a line class nature, that is biggest fish on the lightest line under the ANSA Rules. BLUEWATER GAME: Trophy will be presented to the highest point scoring capture by an angler fishing from a vessel anywhere outside enclosed waters. ROCKS: Trophy will be presented to the highest point scoring capture by an angler fishing from a rocky outcrop, ledge or headland on the ocean front. ESTUARY: Trophy will be presented to the highest point scoring capture by an angler fishing from the shore or vessel in enclosed waters, estuarine waters, saltwater creeks, lagoon, and saltwater marshes. LADIES: Trophy will be presented to the highest point scoring capture by a lady angler fishing from the shore or a vessel. Should a lady win any of the open sections, she shall not be eligible for this trophy with the same fish. JUNIOR: Trophy will be presented to the highest point scoring capture by any angler less than 16 years of age. The same conditions apply as with the ladies’ captures. FLYFISHING: Trophy will be presented to highest point scoring capture by an angler. All tippet line classes to 15 kg eligible. TAGGING: Trophy will be awarded as per the ANSA system. Again we ask a maximum of 200 points per species be adhered to from the new eligible ANSA NSW Tagging List. BEACH: Trophy will be presented to the highest point scoring capture by an angler fishing from sand or gravel beaches, coves and baths anywhere on the ocean front.
