Gone Fishing Day & Xmas Party

It's our Gone Fishing Day, and club Christmas Party, and the end of year wrap up for award winners. It's a big day for our club. Everyone and anyone can go fishing, then back to the club for a free BBQ.

On the fishing front, the word is FLATHEAD.  Members and guests can get out early to chase the mighty FLATHEAD. Send a photo of your FLATHEAD on a brag mat or bring it back to the club where we will have multiple prizes. Submit your photo to the all-members Chat Room in our App, or post to our Facebook page, or SMS to Stan.

Prizes for longest FLATHEAD land-based and boat-based, senior and junior. So, 4 prizes all up for length. Bonus prize for the mystery length... submit a brag mat photo or bring your FLATHEAD back to the club and if you are spot-on the mark with the mystery length, $200 is yours. Remember "spot-on" is the magic word here.

So, go out and have fun chasing FLATHEAD and then we'll see you back at the club. Boat wash-down at the club if it saves you some time.

The Xmas BBQ kicks off at 1pm, snacks from 12noon.  The fine fare includes souvlaki, octopus, chicken wings, and the famous spring rolls of PeterHN. Plenty of salads, chicken, bread, chips, nibbles and kid stuff as well. You will not leave hungry.

We will also take the opportunity to catch up on awarding the Club winners for the Open Boards, Sportfishing, Champion Angler etc over the course of the afternoon.
